In addition, the Model 650 can be used with any
high impedance input voltmeter, multimeter or datalogger.
Not only is this of considerable benefit to a
laboratory, offering a quick and easy way of measuring dissolved
oxygen, but it also benefits users of portable meters, enabling them
to add the measurement of dissolved oxygen to the parameters they
are measuring out in the field.
The Model 650 uses the tried and tested
R.M.S Galvanic Dissolved Oxygen Probe,
which does not require a polarisation voltage and provides
stability, accuracy and repeatable results. The probe is temperature
compensated and when it becomes necessary to change the membrane, it
is a simple task to unscrew the membrane cap, fill a new one with
the filling solution provided and screw on to the probe.
